Ted Bio

Ted is no stranger to the band/music business. About a year after he got his first acoustic guitar at age 15 his friend Steve asked if he would be interested in stopping over to check out his electric guitar setup. Steve was putting together a band and the keyboard player they had lined up backed out. After hearing Ted play he asked if he would be interested in joining. Ted immediately borrowed some money from his mom and mail-ordered an electric guitar and amp, and the rest is history.

His experience now spans decades in both part-time and full-time road bands, with literally thousands of shows to his credit. For over 25 years Ted has acted as leader, musician, sound engineer, and marketing and sales director for his bands. In addition to bass guitar, Ted has also played lead guitar and keyboards in previous projects. Ted has a day gig as an electrical engineer/ programmer and is also a certified professional wedding and portrait photographer.
